Understand how the folk style came about and the ideal way to insert it into your looks

Folk, a musical style named in the mid-1960s, emerged from a movement that spread across the United States and Canada.

The clean sound, composed of refined vocal harmonies, developed amid rock ‘n roll sources and folk music, where artists like Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan stand out.

And so, folk rock also spread in the United Kingdom and from the 1970s offshoots began to exist, such as acid folk, psychedelic folk and progressive folk.

Soon, the musical style, when gaining strength, influences fashion and brings characteristic elements to the fashion universe: rustic elements merge with others: indigenous, hippies, as well as countries and romantics.

How to adhere to the folk style
